This can include barriers, guardrails or freestanding systems that provide a boundary to help prevent falls before they happen.
Do I need edge protection?
According to regulations, if any element of your site presents a possibility of falling over 2 meters, you need edge protection.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 state that every employer is responsible for ensuring any work at height is properly planned, appropriately supervised and safe. This includes selecting the correct edge protection equipment for use when working at height to prevent risk or injury.
